        Umbertide is our nearest town, well equipped and with easy parking to meet all your basic shopping needs. Your in-room guide offers info on pharmacies, supermarkets & restaurants. There's an everything-you-think-of market on Wednesday mornings, and a zero kilometers local produce market every Saturday morning.

        Perugia

        30km

        Perugia is the capital of Umbria, and the nearest major city to Monestevole. Home to a University for foreign students, the town is lively, vibrant, and full new life in historic surrounds. Italians come for miles around for the Napoli-style pizza at Mediterranea. Lines at their original spot got so long, they opened a second one!

        Our local mountain, you can reach by foot. Climb about 400 meters. The views are worth it, especially when you make it to the top by sunrise..

        Cascate delle Marmore

        130km by car

        The Cascate delle Marmore is the tallest man-made tripartite waterfall created by the ancient Romans. The water from the Velino River falls 160m down and give you a unique spectacle, framed by green deep forest. You can enter the waterfalls from two sides - above and below. Viewing platforms give you the chance to come close to the scenery.
