The various well-known and charming towns of both Umbria (Perugia) and
Tuscany (Florence, Sienna) are just minutes from Monestevole. Monestevole is located in the center of Italy, in Umbria, just over the border from Tuscany. A new hot spot for vacationers, Umbria features a powerful combination between the old-fashioned medieval Italy and the pre-Roman Etruscan. It is also a beautiful mix between the functionality of the north and the power passion south (as well as their respective cuisines.)

Directions

Many claim that this area is the most beautiful combination of all that italy can offer. From the architecture to the food, Umbria is now an Italian hotspot (see NYTIMES Dec 2007). And Monestevole is ideally situated to take advantage of all these beauties. Located in the hills above the "High Tiber Valley", 7km from the market town of Umbertide, near the Tuscany border and the historic centers of Perugia, Cortona, Assisi and Gubbio; halfway between Roma and Firenze.
